All fees are due immediately upon acceptance of the boat for storage and services. A monthly late fee of 2% will be charged on any overdue balances. A $50 fee will be charged on returned checks. No boats will be scheduled for launch or removed from the premises unless and until all amounts due hereunder are paid in full. Snug Harbor Marine may lock and secure the boat and otherwise exercise its rights under the New York Lien Law.
Red Carpet Disclosure: Red Carpet is a “Dry Slip”, customers will be provided a “Wet Slip” when customer requests launch. At least a 24hr. notice needs to be given to the office in order to make sure boat is ready for you. Boat will be stored on our premises. An IN/OUT charge of $25.00 will be charged when customer requests the boat to be put in.
Tenant agrees to keep the boat fully insured with complete marine insurance, including hull coverage and liability insurance without interruption during the term. TENANT RELEASES SNUG HARBOR FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS OF DAMAGE TO THE BOAT AND/OR OTHER PROPERTY ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM ANY CAUSE INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION FIRE, THEFT, VANDALISM, WINDSTORM, RAIN, ICE, SNOW, ACCIDENT, INJURY OR DAMAGE TO ANY PERSONS BODY, INCLUDING TENANT, DURING THE RENTAL/STORAGE TERM HEREOF IN OR ABOUT THE PROPERTIES OF SNUG HARBOR MARINE.
Tenant agrees and understands that Snug Harbor Marine carries no insurance which covers any loss that the Tenant may have or claim while renting the space. Tenant agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by law, that Snug Harbor Marine shall not be held responsible or liable to Tenant or to those claiming by, through or under Tenant for any loss or damage occasioned by or through the acts, omissions, or negligence of the occupants of adjoining dockage space and or storage space or property for any damages whatsoever or its causes whatsoever.
ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS: Tenant shall not cause or permit the presence, use, disposal, storage or release of any hazardous substances on Snug Harbor property or their space rented from Snug Harbor. Fuel must be stored in properly installed fuel tanks, oil in crankcase and outboard oils in capped, sealed containers. *HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES* are those substances defined as toxic or hazardous substances by Federal and New York State Law. At Snug Harbor Marina’s discretion, Snug Harbor may ask Tenant to remove any items of property deemed to be undesirable and Tenant shall immediately comply. Tenant and or his/her agents WILL NOT under any circumstance carry or permit to be carried onto the properties of Snug Harbor Marine, gasoline in containers for the purpose of filling a fuel tank at dockside. Fueling a tank from a carry container is dangerous and may result in an uncontrolled spill and is illegal.
